Darksiders II

Darksiders II one of the games I have been waiting to play with eager since I played darksiders. In this game you are not playing as War, you are playing as Death. The game set is that you are playing one of the four horsemen, the keeper of the balance in the universe in order to do this the they have received incredible power from the Charred Council if they slaughtered all of the Nephilim. The four horsemen are the last standing Nephilims, angels and demons that have been fused togheter.

You play as Death or more known in the game as kin-slayer since he slaughtered his own kind just to achieve the great powers the Charred Council offered him. This time you are supposed to save War, your brother from Darksiders. In the first game War is accused for being the one that made the human kind extinct, you are supposed to prove to the Charred Council that War is not the one to blame. Death is going on a journey to resurrect humanity and remove all of the crimes War have been accused for.

If you have played both you know that this game is really different from the first Darksiders. Sure both are third-person hack n' slash games but this game got an open world and you can do so many side quests. Unlike the first game where you follow the story line. In this game you also get your horse from the beginning something you did not get until the middle of the game while playing the first Darksiders. You can also loot gear and customize your character more with different armours and weapons, the abyssal armour exists in this game as it does in the first game. But it's more difficult to get the abyssal in Darksiders II than in the first game. You also got a talent tree in this game where you can choose if you want to play as a Necromancer or if you want to fight with arms, your scythes.

But overall I really enjoyed every minute I played this game only thing I really missed is the big sword War had, I wanted Death to wield one big scythe and not two different. But that's life!

Stay frosty!
